February 28th @ 5:45 pm

We open to see a crowded mall area, people mil l about from one store to the next but our sight falls on one particular blonde figure as she pushes her way through the crowd. Her blonde hair floating behind her as she walks briskly toward her destination. Reaching said destination she reaches out and grabs hold of the door handle and pulls it open with ease, as it swings full open she steps inside and scans the room. She nods her head slightly as she finds who or what it is she was searching for and makes her way from the front of the restaurant toward the far back corner.

Without a word she tosses herself down into a chair and slaps the briefcase she's been carrying into the chair beside her, in the same breath she snaps her fingers in the direction of a waiter who is standing beside a nearby table. he finishes up at the table and quickly makes his way to her. As the waiter stops, before he has a chance to speak, she tosses out a drink order.

[Unknown 1] - "I'll take a Diet Pepsi, light ice, and another of whatever she is having."

She motions to the woman she is now seated across from. The woman's head is lowered and her dark hair masks her face as she fiddles with the straw in her glass. The waiter writes the order down and turns to leave the table as The dark haired woman's voice is heard but her face still not seen.

[Unknown 2] - "About time Becca, thought maybe you had forgotten about this little appointment."

The blonde smirks at the sarcasm oozing from the words as she eases her jacket off and tosses it over with the briefcase before answering.

[Becca Stevenson] - "It is hardly an appointment Rhya, it's a drink between friends, and I didn't forget, just got wrapped up in paperwork for PWTs return."

[Rhya Michaels] - "Yeah I've noticed you haven't been downstairs since we started the recruitment."

[Becca Stevenson] - "Rhya I hired you because I know you can handle this. When CM walked out, he left us both in a really messed up predicament, but we can handle it and we will prove it, hell we already are proving it. I guarantee they all expect us to fail but if we don't then him and all the rest of them will be eating shit."

Rhya sighed as she sat back in her chair, her dark hair framing her face, a mask of unread-ability covering it.

[Rhya Michaels] - "Honestly Becca, I don't give a rats two shits what he or any one else in this damn industry thinks. I've been there and done that and I will be damned if I let their useless opinions cloud my judgements and decisions ever again."

[Becca Stevenson] - "Well considering he left PWT of his own free will, we wish him the best in whatever future endeavors he finds himself involved in.... even the ones that include the free STD clinic."

Becca says the last part with oozing sarcasm and a sinister smile on her face. Rhya shoots her a look that is definitely a warning, but Becca just shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly.

[Becca Stevenson] - "Well we both know he will be right back to shopping at Sluts-R-Us, every time you have Gabby."

With that Rhya doesn't just glare at her, no this time her words and stern as she speaks.

[Rhya Michaels] - "Stop it Becca, I am not going to stoop to the level of him and his so called friends and play the third grade name game.I could give a shit less what he does or who he does it with, I am so over that all. I decided that I was walking away from this with my dignity intact and that hasn't changed. He can do whatever he chooses to do..."

... Becca interrupted her without a second thought.

[Becca Stevenson] - "... Don't you mean with whomever he chooses, we know Rhya, isn't that what caused the problems of the past few years after all.?.?"

[Rhya Michaels] - "Damnit Becca."

[Becca Stevenson] - "What do you expect me to do Rhya? He's over there hiding behind their cameras running his mouth about you stalking that place, trying to make himself feel better about the slithering backwater redneck that he is. Making it seem like your pining over him, and you sit here acting like it's OK, when we both know better. You act as though whatever he says is just fine as long as you keep the animosity out of it and you play nice. That's a bunch of steaming bullsh.. and you know it."

[Rhya Michaels] - "It would matter to me if it was even the tiniest bit relevant, because you see I have indeed been in the halls of GWA recently, the halls, locker room, and a few other places, but believe me when I say that nowhere within GWA that I have allowed myself to enter has had an inclining to do with him, he may think that all he wants and so can anyone else, but reality is reality and the reality of the matter is that he isn't who I am showing interest in, nor will he ever be.

Becca eyes her curiously as she notices the impish smirk that is pulling at the corner of her lips. Realization sets in and Becca's face goes from one of curiosity to one of knowing and when all is said and done both woman look at one another with the same impish grin as the waiter appears and places a drink before both woman, as he turns and walks away Rhya continues to speak.

[Rhya Michaels] - "Becca, I accepted your offer because I want my life back, and i don't want to continuously have him thrown back into my life. I have a daughter to consider and she will always be placed first. I am requesting a court date to set up joint custody and I refuse to have you or anyone else bashing her father when she is around or where she can hear it. I don't need my little girl hearing hurtful and hateful words about him, and she wont hear them in my presence from anyone, he may be a southern-fried asshole, but he is still Gabbys father, and my husband until the divorce is finalized. Nothing is going to jeopardize my plans Becca, I wont allow that to happen."

Rhya looks to her friend in hopes that her words are getting through to her before she continues.

[Rhya Michaels] - "I want to enjoy my life and move on like I should have done two years ago. I have spent the last eleven years in some of the worst situations any person could find themselves in and now I just want to get myself into a place where I can enjoy my life and forget the past."

[Becca Stevenson] - "I understand that Rhya, and I am sorry. You know I have never seen eye to eye with Christian, and since you and I became friends I dislike him even more. He doesn't treat you right, he has done far to much $hit that you didn't deserve. I have sat back with many others and watched from afar, and in the end Rhya, this past couple of years all I have seen is you work your ass off, change who you were completely, you pushed away all your friends, became a f**kin hermit locked away taking care of Gabby, hell even your attitude changed, and for what? To save a marriage that he didn't give two shits about. He didn't care enough to just be content with you, no he had to run around chasing any set of lips that would willingly spread wide for him. You got rid of everyone in your life but did he? Hell no he kept all his cheap toys as close as he could and when you figured out it was still going on, he tried to flip the script and put all the blame on you. Bullshit, I was there, I seen what it did to you, and I will be damned if I am going to sit back and watch it continue. You don't deserve that, you deserve better."

Rhya takes a long draw from her straw and sets the glass back down on the table as she looks up at Becca.

[Rhya Michaels] - "I understand how you feel Becca, but I wasn't innocent in the downfall of the Michaels marriage. He made some valid points. The past few years haven't been the best for me and I allowed them to interfere in my marriage. The outcome of that is what it is. I laid it all out there and allowed him to make the choice, and he did. I may not have been happy with it, and it may not have been the choice we all expected, but it is what it is... Just wish it hadn't taken so long to get it over with. I think we were both holding onto something that fizzled out long ago, we were both just to damn stubborn or stupid to see the signs."

Unconsciously Rhya plays with the ring still on her finger as she allows her thoughts to drift off. Becca senses that Rhyas mind is going to that bad place and being a friend that is something she doesn't want so she quickly changes the topic of conversation.

[Becca Stevenson] - "So did you have plans for Valentines Day?"

She asks, feigning curiosity. Figuring she already knew the answer her friend would represent.

[Rhya Michaels] - "Actually I did, I had a date with an old friend of ours. He always manages to show up when I am at my worst, and this was no different."

Beccas interest is quickly peeked as she leans in closer and eyes Rhya. Based on the look in Rhyas eyes, Becca knew exactly who she referred to and thus her interest was more peeked than ever.

[Becca Stevenson] - "Spill it bitch, dish me the dirt."

Becca grins as she slaps her hands down onto the table.

[Rhya Michaels] - "Well he called, and invited me to the club for their Valentines Evening. I agreed to show up and we talked for a few minutes. He wanted the conversation to go down a different path than I did, not something I enjoy over the phone. So I told him we would talk more later and we hung up."

[Becca Stevenson] - "And ?"

[Rhya Michaels] - "And, well..."

Rhya looks away from Becca, refusing to meet her eyes as she subconsciously played with the ring on her finger, swirling it around. Suddenly Beccas hands slam down onto the tabletop and she nearly pushes her chair out, she wiggles back into the chair and looks at Rhya.

[Becca Stevenson] - "Rhya, seriously? What the hell were you thinking? You know you wanted to go, I have heard you talk about him so many times over the past couple of years. I cannot believe you would blow him off like that."

[Rhya Michaels] - "Chill Becca geesh. We didn't do Valentines at the damn club okay; we got together at my condo instead and spent a nice, quiet night..."

Rhya allowed her words to trail off as the smirk on her face grew slightly. She knew Becca was ready to go ape-shit, and telling her wasn't the question, that would be just how much to tell her and Rhya knew that answer.

[Rhya Michaels] - "Well, I have to go now, it was nice catching up Becca but I have some things to tend to. Hit me up whenever."

With that said Rhya stands up and grabs her jacket off the back of the chair, not bothering to put it on as she turns and walks away, leaving Becca with an unfinished business type look on her face. Becca huffed and her face turned to a pouty mask as she too grabbed up her Jacket and briefcase, tossing some bills onto the table she made her way across the room and exited.
