Bob" Lets go back to the Sunny Side and see who is kissing there"
[ Motel live shot.
[ Lori and Christina slowly move through the steam to the shower door..Lori licks her lips as she grabs the handle to the door" Nova I sure hope you are up for a night of your life. You are about to get rocked"
[ Lori jerks open the door expecting to see the naked novaconda waiting to slay her and Christina, instead she finds an empty shower with only the water running." What the hell?"
Christina gets out " I knew....." Before the kick catches her upside the head the momentum driving her into the sink. She staggers as the figure moves from the steam grabbing Christina and slamming the side of her head into the mirror..As the glass shatters everywhere Christina slumps to the floor. Lori spins in shock swinging wildly, she lands a stiff right to the figure's shoulder/neck area causing this person to stumble backwards. Lori shoves by the figure running through the glass as it digs into her bare feet and back into the bedroom of the motel. She grabs for her clothes but the figure comes flying out of the steam filled bathroom and tackles Lori to the floor driving her head into the floor repeatly until Lori lays there bloody and unconcious...The figure stands up brushing her golden mane from her eyes and the crowd in the arena is going nuts right about now seeing Angel standing there..All sweaty, half naked and pissed off.
" Don't be sneaking into my room bitch and trying to get freaky with me. Fucking Sluts trying to molest me as I shower"
[ The scene fades back to the arena
Bob" What the hell just happened there?"
Eddie" Well I am not a Rocket Scientist but I would say Angel just kicked the shit out of Lori and Christina"
Bob" Duh..But she said her room, was Nova there with Angel all the time or was this all a big set up?"
Eddie" Who k nows, but we got a Heavyweight title to decide"
Bob"These men were partners weeks back and now they are opponents for the Heavyweight title"
Eddie" Shows you what the lust of gold will do to people"
Sabrina, "The following contest is for the World Heavyweight Championship, and is a two-out-of three falls match with a sixty-minute time limit."
[ The crowd begins to cheer, knowing what's coming. The arena lights dim as the sounds of Nelly's "Heart of a Champion" fills the arena. The crowd rises to their feet as a golden spotlight shines on the stage. David Van Dam walks out onto the ramp with a towel wrapped around his neck. Bouncing from foot to foot, the heavyweight grappler moves down the ring aisle and to the ring. Climbing up the steel steps, Van Dam wipes his feet on the ring apron and enters the ring. Moving to his assigned corner, Van Dam sets the towel underneath the bottom turnbuckle, and proceeds to warm up, loosening himself up for his approaching contest.
Bob Fecca, "David Van Dam looks as focused as I've ever seen him, he's ready for this contest."
Eddie Styles, "It's not going to be easy for him, he's got to up against Christian Michaels, who isn't going to give up the World Title easy- if at all."
[ A video starts on the tron as we hear "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor start to play. This video comprised of images depicting Christian Michaels in PWT & ICWA action,.....Fans are cheering like hell, the lights coming back on to reveal their hero with his back to them....His arms are outstretched in Jericho-fashion...CM spins round and makes his way down the aisle slapping as many hands as he can on the way....Many fans shouting well wishes as he moves up the steps.....Michaels steps into the ring and calls for those cheers ....The music fading away as CM waits for the match to start...
Sabrina, "Introducing first, in the corner to my right, he is the challenger. He hails from Indianapolis, Indiana, and weighed in this afternoon at two hundred and forty-five pounds. He is 'The Ironman'... He is... DAVID...VAN...DAM..."
[ The crowd cheers as Van Dam raises his arms in acknowledgement, before moving back against the turnbuckle so Sabrina can introduce the Champion."
Sabrina, "And in the corner to my left, he is the reigning and defending Professional Wrestling Today World Heavyweight Champion. He weighed in this afternoon at two hundred and thirty-pounds, He is the Southern Heartthrob... He is, CHRISTIAN... MICHAELS!"
[ The crowd cheers as Christian Michaels unsnaps the World Championship from around his waist, looking at it before handing it to senior PWT official Jim Richards. Richards shows it to the challenger, and Van Dam nods at it, before looking straight up at Christian Michaels, not taking his eyes off the Champion, waiting on the sound of the bell.
Bob Fecca, "These two athletes have a storied history together, going back to two thousand and five. It was at the first PWT Shockwave that they wrestled in a triple threat match, it was in two thousand and five that they first battled for the World Championship, in PWT's version of the Pure Wrestling Match... Over two years since their first meeting in Professional Wrestling Today, heck, it's been over two years since they first battled for the Professional Wrestling Today World Championship, and here they are... Meeting again."
Eddie Styles, "David Van Dam beat Christian to win his first Professional Wrestling Today World Championship, a career milestone for the Ironman, can he beat Christian Michaels for his fourth World Championship?"
[ The bell sounds, officially starting the World Heavyweight Chamionship match up.
Bob Fecca, "And here we are, the first fall, a very important fall in the scheme of the match. Whoever wins the first fall has a decided advantage over the other."
[ Christian Michaels has the decided speed and agility advantage, while David Van Dam has the technical and power advantage. They stare across the ring at each other, their eyes locking. They know how important this match is. Moving to the center of the ring, they stare at each other for a few moments longer. Van Dam goes to grab Christian Michaels with a lock up, but Christian ducks under Van Dam, using his speed to get behind his challenger. Wrapping his arms around Van Dam's waist, he runs towards the ropes, Van Dam's body pressing against it, Christian using Van Dam's body to spring them backwards, rolling Van Dam up to attempt the pin fall. Senior official Jim Richards slides into position.
One
[ Van Dam kicks out, the momentum sending Christian Michaels into the ropes, Christian comes boucing back catching the now standing Van Dam with a big lariat, knocking his challenger down to the mat. Van Dam gets back up, and gets caught with a second lariat, Van Dam gets back up, al-be-it slower this time. Instead of a lariat, he catches a big drop kick from the reigning Champion. The crowd explodes as Christian Michaels gets up, looking around at them, pumping his arms.
Bob Fecca, "Christian Michaels off to a fast start. He wants to keep this match fast, use his speed advantage against David Van Dam."
[ Van Dam rolls out of the ring, shaking his head, trying to clear the cobwebs built up from those quick shots from the reigning PWT World Chammpion. Christian Michaels smiles as he hits the set of ropes opposite where Van Dam is, propelling himself back towards Van Dam's side of the ring. Leaping between the middle and top rope, Michaels uses his body like a torpedo, colliding with Van Dam's body, sending Van Dam into the ring side guard rail. Referee Jim Richards demands they bring it back into the ring as CM delivers a couple of shots right to the cranium of Van Dam, before grabbing him by the singlet, sending him back into the ring. Michaels hops up onto the apron, wrapping his arm around the top rope as he turns to look at the sold-out crowd in the Angel Arena. Turning back to face Van Dam, Christian waits for Van Dam to stagger to his feet. DVD gets up slowly, still reeling from CM's onslaught thus far. CM holds onto the top rope, leaping up onto it as he springs towards Van Dam, DVD sees it, but it's too late to avoid CM's springboard diving lariat. Van Dam is dropped hard to the canvas, and CM attempts his second pinfall of the match.
One Two
[ Van Dam gets his shoulder up off the canvas, keeping the score tied at zero-zero.
Styles, " Christian Michaels has solid control over this match. He's keeping the pace fast, and not giving Van Dam a chance to get starter, it's obvious the Champion came to win."
[ CM pulls DVD up, grabbing him by the left arm, he sends him into the corner. Van Dam collides with the corner, his arms wrapped around the top rope, keeping himself standing as the man from Memphis comes charging towards him, leaping into the air, his chest colldies with Van Dam's. CM bounces off of DVD and looks around at the people, smiling as Van Dam stumbles out of the corner. Kick to the gut doubles DVD over, and CM grabs his head, pulling it between his thighs. Wrapping his arms around Van Dam's waist, he pulls him upside down, much like the fans have seen one of CM's hero's, Jerry Lawler do time and time again. Leaping up some, CM sits out, driving Van Dam head first into the mat with a fierce piledriver. The crowd roars with approval as Christian Michaels attempts another cover.
One Two Th...
[ Van Dam again gets his shoulder up, the camera zooms in on his face, and his eyes seem to be glazed over.
Fecca, "Van Dam seems to be running on auto pilot right now, Christian Michaels is just having his way with him, and Van Dam is merely kicking out, keeping himself from losing the first fall.
[ Van Dam lays on the mat still, trying to catch his wind, his bearings as Christian Michaels moves to the top rope. Looking around at the crowd, he holds his arms out, basking in their approval, before leaping off, sitting out in the air, obviously going for his top rope leg drop, Southern Climate. Just before he connects, Van Dam rolls out of the way, causing Christian Michaels to crash-and-burn so to speak. Michaels holds onto his leg in discomfort as Van Dam rolls to his feet, staggering for a few moments to gain his bearings, he manages to dodge a CM-attempted lariat, his arms moving around CM's waist, lifting him up, and slamming him into the mat with an over-head release German Suplex.
Styles, "Look at the power behind that suplex. Van Dam's still got some fight left in him."
[ Van Dam pulls Christian Michaels up, delivering a kick to the gut, Van Dam explodes with a snap suplex, his body lifting up and floating over Van Dam makes a cover on Christian Michaels.
One Tw.
[ Christian Michaels gets his shoulder up off the mat, keeping himself in this fall. Van Dam grits his teeth, trying to ignore the pain that's circluating through his body. Pulling Christian Michaels up to his feet, Van Dam whips him into the turnbuckle, charging in after him, Van Dam lets his body collide with Christian's, before lifting him up to the top rope. Van Dam suplexes Christian Michaels off of the top rope, driving him back first into the mat. They both lay there for several moments, Van Dam trying to get his bearings together, while Christian is trying to get the momentum back that Van Dam is trying to steal from him. Van Dam slowly climbs to his feet while reaching over to pull up Christian Michaels. Van Dam sets him up for a T-Bone suplex, completing it, Van Dam stays on top of him for a cover.
One Two T.
[ Christian Michaels gets his shoulder up again, showing that he is also resilent.
Fecca, "It's interesting how quick the tide can turn. Christian missed one move, and hasn't been able to get himself going again, he's been feeling the impact of several Van Dam suplexes."
Styles, "All Van Dam needed was an opening to take over the match, and now he has it."
[ Van Dam moves away from Christian Michaels, climbing up onto the top rope, he waits, perched.
Fecca, "What's Van Dam doing up there? He never goes to the top rop unless his opponent is already up there."
Styles, "Who knows? But, this is for the World Title, so I'm sure he's going to break out some new tricks."
[ Christian Michaels stumbles to his feet, his body turned sideways from Van Dam. Van Dam leaps off the rope, looking for a double axe handle, but as his body comes down, Christian Michaels' foot extends, catching Van Dam under the chin with a modified version of CM's "You Just Got Whapped."
Fecca, "Oh My God! Van Dam Just Got Whapped! Out of no where!"
[ Van Dam's eyes roll back in his head as he falls to the mat, his body laying against it. Christian Michaels draps himself across Van Dam, hooking the leg.
One Two Three!
Sabrina, "Winner of the first fall... Christian Michaels! We will now have a thirty second rest break before the second fall begins."
[ The crowd cheers as Christian rolls off Van Dam, moving to his corner while Van Dam stays on the mat, still trying to catch himself after that impactful super kick.
Fecca, "And just like that, Christian Michaels is back in control of this match, and has a one-oh lead over Van Dam."
Styles, "This just put Van Dam's back against the wall, now Van Dam has to take two straight falls against Christian Michaels."
[ As the clock ticks down to zero, Van Dam makes it back to his feet. Christian Michaels is fast on the move, grabbing Van Dam, he whips him into the ropes, hitting the other set of ropes, Christian Michaels comes charging towards Van Dam, leaping into the air, he catches him with a flying cross body block, staying on him for a pin attempt.
One Two Thre..
[ Van Dam gets his shoulder off the mat, barely in time. Christian shrugs, knowing he's in full control now. Pulling Van Dam up by his singlet, he lifts Van Dam up and drives him down into the mat with a big powerslam. Christian Michaels looks at Van Dam, and then at the top rope. Deciding he wants to take another risk, Michaels moves to the ropes, climbing onto the top rope, Michaels looks over at Van Dam. Michaels' back is towards Van Dam as he leaps off the mat, flipping backwards with a picture-perfect moonsault. Van Dam's body doesn't move, but his knees come up, causing Christian to crash chest-first into Van Dam's knees. Christian's body bounces off of Van Dam's knees, Christian grabbing at his mid-section in agony. Van Dam lays there, catching his breathing, before climbing to his feet. CM is up not long after, and Van Dam grabs him like he was going for a suplex, but instead of suplexing him over, Van Dam drives him chest first into the mat. Van Dam moves to CM's side, driving his knees into Christian's back, one arm wrapping under Christian's jaw, his other hand holding one of Christian's legs as he rolls backwards, bending Christian's body over his knees. Michaels' groans in agony, his hands thrashing, trying to get out of the painful hold. Referee Jim Richards asks Christian if he wants to give it up, but the World Champion says no.
Fecca, "Van Dam has turned up the intensity in the second fall."
[ Van Dam breaks the hold, pulling CM up to his feet, DVD lifts Christian Michaels over and drops him into the mat with a textbook Northern Lights Suplex, DVD bridges, keeping it for the pin.
One Two Th.
[ CM gets his shoulder off the mat, breaking the pin fall attempt. Van Dam sits up, shaking his sweat head, he's got the momentum in his corner right now, and he's feeling confident this fall is going to be his. Van Dam pulls Christian Michaels up, moving behind him, DVD lifts him up for the Last Chance, but CM slides off of his back. DVD turns around, and CM's foot coming straight for his jaw, Van Dam ducks under it, quickly pouncing. Lifting Christian up, DVD slams him into the mat with a Last Chance. Van Dam stays draped over Christian for the cover.
One Two Three!
Sabrina, "Winner of the second fall, David Van Dam."
Fecca, "We're all tied up at one fall a piece."
Styles, "It's time for a thirty second rest break... We're down to the wire."
[ Both wrestlers are up at the end of the thirty-second rest break. Each one is feeling the effects of two grueling falls. Both wrestlers are filled with pain as they move out of the corner, deciding to slow the match down a bit. They meet center-ring for a collar-elbow tie up. Christian Michaels uses his speed to get behind Van Dam, but DVD uses his technical prowess as he reaches down, grabbing CM's leg, pulling his leg out from under him. CM hits the mat, and DVD is quick onto the offensive, rolling CM onto his stomach, DVD holds his ankle, locking in his version of the Ankle Lock. CM is quick to react though, pulling himself to the bottom rope. DVD breaks the hold, backing up as CM pulls himself onto the ring aprong. Van Dam comes charging towards CM, but CM steps to the side, bring his knee up, so DVD's face crashes into CM's knee.
Fecca, "Van Dam was looking to tackle CM off the apron, but instead, he got a face full of CM's knee."
[ Van Dam's body stays draped over the middle rope as CM re-enters the ring. He pulls Van Dam off of the rope, lifting him up, he drops him to the mat with a back suplex. Van Dam lays on the mat, not moving as CM climbs onto the top rope again. He leaps off, once again looking for the Southern Climate. This time, his hits it perfectly, Van Dam's body arching up then falling motionless against the mat. CM is quick to move into the pinning position.
One Two Thre.
[ Van Dam barely gets his shoulder up off the mat, keeping himself in the match up. CM shrugs as he gets off of Van Dam, backing away, he signals it's time to Whap Van Dam again. The crowd is on their feet, sensing that the time is now. Van Dam staggers to his feet, and CM explodes for another kick, Van Dam ducks it, catching him he lifts him up for the Last Chance, CM slides off of Van Dam's back, grabbing his head for his J.L.T., Van Dam pushes him off, when CM turns around, Van Dam lifts him up like he's going to go for The Tipping Point. When he spins CM out for the diamond cutter portion, CM pushes off of Van Dam's back and lands on his feet, Van Dam turns around, and CM's foot comes flying back towards his face, Van Dam moves out of the way, and BOOM! CM's foot comes in contact with Jim Richards draw, dropping the officiall.
Styles, "What an exchange! And now, the referee is down!
Christian Michaels turns around, gets kicked in the gut, lifted into the air, and then thrown up, when CM comes down, he catches a European Uppercut to the face. CM falls on the mat, laying motionless after the big Good Night from David Van Dam. DVD falls back against the ropes, his body resting there as he looks at CM, and the downed referee. Sliding out of the ring, Van Dam moves towards the time keepers table.
Fecca, "What is Van Dam doing out here."
[ Van Dam pushes Sabrina aside and takes her steel chair, holding it in his palms, he moves back towards the ring.
Fecca. "Oh come on. Not like this David. Not like this. You and Christian have been having a great match up, you don't need to resort to this."
[ Van Dam slides the chair in the ring as he gets it in, he lifts the chair up, and waits for Christian to get up. Christian does, slowly, Van Dam raises the chair, and then stops, tossing it to the side, he turns back to face Christian Michaels, gets a kick in the gut before grabbing Van Dam's head, spinning, he slams it right into the mat with a Just Like That. Van Dam's head bounces off the mat as CM moves over him for a a pin fall, but the referee is still down.
Fecca, "Christian Michaels has this match won. Wait... What is this? Who's that in the ring... That's... That's WHYSPER!"
Styles, "What's he doing here? I didn't know he'd been cleared to come back."
Fecca, "Who cares about that, what does Whysper want?"
[ Whysper grabs the chair Van Dam discarded, brings it up, and slams it into the now-standing Christian Michaels' back. Christian arches his back in pain as Whysper drops the chair, turning CM around, Whysper kicks him in the gut, leaps into the air, and then uses his leg to drive Christian face first into the chair. CM's face bounces off of it and Whysper smiles. Grabbing the chair, Whysper tosses it out of the ring, before dragging Van Dam over CM.
Fecca, "What? No! Not like this."
[ Moving over to referee Jim Richards, Whysper shakes him concious again, before dragging him over to the pin. Whysper exits the ring as Jim Richards begins a slow count.
One...
Fecca, "No. Damn it! No!"
Two...'
Styles :"We're one count away from having a new World's Champion.
Three...
[ The bell rings as Van Dam rolls off of Christian Michaels.
Sabrina, "Here is your winner.. and NEW Professional Wrestling Today World Champion. DAVID...VAN...DAM..."
[ The crowd is stunned, not sure if Van Dam knows how he won or not, but Whysper is still rinside. Whysper moves from the spot he was resting at to the time keeper's table. Grabbing the World Championship, he slides into the ring, moving over to the now standing Van Dam. Van Dam looks at Whysper in confusion as Whysper hands him the World Championship. Van Dam looks at the title, and then looks at Whysper. A long moment passes before he smiles, the two men hugging as their arms raise, into the air.
Fecca, "Damn it! David Van Dam just stole the World Title from Christian Michaels! Damn it!"
Styles: As the ole saying goes Bobby: If you're not cheating then you're not trying.
[ Fecca glares at Styles before we get ready for this big main event of the evening. |
