It had been one hell of a long time since Phoenix Winterborn had stepped foot anywhere near the Angel Arena in Michigan. But yet, like an evil mistress calling, here he was again, ready to start over. It had been long since Phoenix had had to surrender the PWT tag team titles he had held with Michael Harris has part of the legendary tag-team Chi-Town's Finest. But once you fast-forward to present day, things were different. Phoenix was renewing his quest for the PWT championship now that he was on his own. The list of names that were in front of him en route to the title was akin to a whos who of modern-day professional wrestling. The top of the list is Jacob Mitchell, someone whom Phoenix had a nice history with during PWT's previous incarnation, but that particular story was for another day. For now? It was time re-establish himself as a main event caliber talent. As Phoenix sat outside of the arena on the warm Michigan afternoon, he pulled out his Galaxy S4, and set up the video capture to film a short piece for his website, announcing his return to PWT. "So, here we are. Hey everyone, Phoenix Winterborn here. I'm standing outside the famous Angel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Why am I here, you may be asking yourself? Well, the long and short of it is that, Professional Wrestling Today is making a return, and Jonathan Brooks has reached out to me in hopes that one of the best names in the business would com back and help elevate PWT to heights never seen before. I gladly obliged, seeing that PWT was one of the companies that brought me in, and I was accepted by not only the fans, but the locker room from day one. There was a good groupd of guys the last time I was here, so I'm hoping for more of the same here. I'm quite certain you'll be hearing more from me in the coming weeks, but I'm going to get out of here for now. Got a meeting with the bossman who is currently texting me asking where the hell I'm at." Phoenix rolled his eyes with a smirk. "Catch ya later, kids!" With a wink and a smile, the camera shut off as he uploaded the video to his YouTube before taking off for his meeting with Brooks.
